John Dryden's birthplace

Stay overnight stay in the place of John Dryden's birth.

Possibly the greatest English poet and playwrights of the 17th century, John Dryden was born in the rectory at Aldwincle where his grandfather was rector of our All Saints' Church. Dryden was baptised in the church before moving to Titchmarsh on the other side of the River Nene.

Why not stay the night? Aldwincle is now a 'champing' church!
