Volunteering Officer, South East
We are looking for a talented individual to join a specialist team recruiting, developing and supporting volunteer teams who help us care for and re-use a collection of 38 outstanding historic churches across Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire & Bedfordshire. This role is vital to our aim to ensure these historic buildings remain at the heart of their communities as visitor attractions, community and events spaces, and heritage assets.
You will have a track record of training, developing and managing volunteers and experience of inspiring communities to run successful projects and events.
To make our high profile churches a success you’ll be expected to use your initiative, be a sound negotiator and be motivated by the challenge of delivering high standards at a distance and through others.
