Volunteering Officer, West (Somerset, Dorset, Devon & Cornwall)
Do you have the skills and passion for involving local people in saving historic buildings?
We are looking for someone to join a talented team to recruit, develop and support volunteer teams to ensure a collection of 40 historic churches across four counties remain at the heart of their communities as visitor attractions and venues for events.
You will have a track record of training, developing and managing volunteers and experience of inspiring communities to run successful projects and events.
To make our high profile churches a success you’ll be expected to use your initiative, be a sound negotiator and be motivated by the challenge of delivering high standards at a distance and through others.

Please note there is a two-stage interview process. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a familiarisation day on Monday 5th February within the region. This will be followed by an invitation to formal panel interviews on Thursday 15 February 2018 in Bristol.
