Volunteering Officer, South East

£22,022 - £25,908 pa pro rata, plus pensions & benefits
36 hours per week
Home based with regular attendance at the Cambridge regional office

We are looking for someone to join a talented team to recruit, develop and support volunteer teams to ensure that a collection of 38 historic churches across five counties realise their potential as visitor attractions and venues for events. 

The successful candidate will cover the counties of Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire & Buckinghamshire.

You will have a track record of training, developing and managing volunteers and partnership groups, and experience of inspiring communities to run successful projects and events.

To make our high profile churches a success you’ll be expected to use your initiative, be a sound negotiator, excellent communicator and be motivated by the challenge of delivering high standards at a distance and through others.
