Training and HR Manager
We are looking for a pro-active, Training and HR professional, who will lead on the development and delivering of our learning and development programme for staff and volunteers, and provide exceptional HR support to our staff team.
This is an exciting time to join our busy national heritage charity. Under our five year strategy launched this year, our aims are to support communities to use and love their historic places of worship, share our skills to sustain historic churches both inside and outside our collection, and promote the value of this shared cultural heritage locally and nationally.
In order to achieve our aims, we need to ensure that staff and volunteers are trained to a high standard in the techniques and methods of managing and promoting historic places of worship. In collaboration with internal specialisms, you will develop, manage and monitor a training programme for staff and volunteers, which ensures the dissemination of the skills and knowledge of the organisation. In addition, you will manage the relationship with our external HR service provider(s), as well as acting as first line of enquiry for staff with HR related questions.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role provides a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Training and HR professional to shape learning and development, and the delivery of HR support across our organisation. If you have experience of developing and delivering an organisation-wide training programme, a sound knowledge of HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle, and experience of liaising with outsourced HR services providers, then we want to hear from you.
