Fundraising Officer, Membership and Donations
Do you love beautiful buildings on ancient sites, telling the story of their local communities in stone, wood and glass?
If your answer is yes then join our fundraising and membership team and help meet the challenge of keeping the doors of our churches open for all to enjoy and to safeguard this heritage for generations to come.
This is an exciting time to join the Trust as we implement a new five year strategy to empower and support communities to care for historic places of worship.
We have a great opportunity for a highly organised, creative and enthusiastic individual to join our team, focused on growing our membership and increasing income.
In this role you will be responsible for a range of fundraising activities from the promotion and administration of our Membership Schemes (including those for high net worth individuals) to the creation of specific appeals and running fund raising events.
In order to be successful in this role you will have an established track record of working in a membership organisation and have delivered successful programmes of membership and donor development leading to increased income.
We are a small team with a large remit who work closely with colleagues and volunteers across the country. As such there is plenty of opportunity for learning new skills and taking on a wide range of responsibilities as well as working together to manage the day to day administration.
