Arts Centre Manager

£28,700 per annum
36 hours net per week with evening and weekend working

The Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) is the national charity caring for historic churches at risk and have an international award-winning reputation in heritage conservation and regeneration.

We are now looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Arts Centre Manager for the next phase of our exciting regeneration project in the heart of Worcester. Through repair, conservation and adaptation we have given St Swithun’s Church a new lease of life as a centre for contemporary arts that will launch to visitors and audiences this spring.

This is a rare opportunity to make your mark on a fledgling commercial operation that, thanks to the Heritage Fund grant, has significant scope built into the business plan to enable the testing and refining of the events programme and associated activities. 

You will be instrumental in driving the business plan, programming of the venue, responding to community need and developing strategies to maximise site use and income generation. A self-starter, you will be able to realise the vision for St Swithun’s, building a successful and sustainable commercial operation which will secure the future of this landmark site.

Please note there is a two-stage interview process. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a familiarisation visit at 12.30-14.30 on Wednesday 16 February 2022 in Worcester. This will be followed by a formal panel interview on Friday 18 February 2022 via Zoom.
