Volunteer and community supporter induction

Whether you are interested in volunteering with CCT, have decided to become a volunteer or want to refresh your knowledge, this twenty minute induction video will give you a general overview of CCT as an organisation and the vital role volunteers play.

The Volunteer and Community Supporter handbook combines everything you need to refer to at a glance. This gets updated frequently, so you can check back here for updated versions.

Safeguarding is essential training for CCT. It will tell you what to look out for, and what to do. We have created a few short videos for you to watch, so please take the opportunity to do so.

Our ways of working can be seen as our volunteer compact, in which we describe our commitment to fostering collaborative working, mutual respect and understanding.

Please have a look at the general volunteering risk assessment. If you feel there is a higher risk to you in certain elements, please raise these with your CCT contact. You can find more information about Health & Safety in our Volunteer Handbook.

Everything volunteers and communities might need to know about finances such as handling and paying in money, gift aid and claiming expenses.
