Conserve Cameley's Wallpaintings
Cameley St James is a remarkable church, with wall paintings on almost every wall, first uncovered in the 1960s, originating from the 12th to the 18th centuries. The varying decorative schemes provides a tantalising glimpse into the history of the building, both before and after the English Reformation. We need to raise £35,000 for conservation work to preserve these wallpaintings for future generations. Contact Marie Leverett on mleverett@thecct.org.uk for more information about this project.
