Urgent and essential work is now needed both inside and outside the Chapel that will cost over £1.7 million to complete.

The Churches Conservation Trust and Friends of St Nicholas Chapel are working together to raise a minimum of £210,000 in order to secure a grant of £1.5 million from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) to complete the work.
For over 600 years St Nicholas' chapel has enriched the lives of the people of King's Lynn and Norfolk. People have worshipped here for centuires. National and international visitors are drawn to the wonderful carved angels high up in the 15th-century timber roof, the dazzling stained glass and the history contained within its walls. The building is a unique venue for music and the arts, as well as a quiet place for the local community and visitors to enjoy.
"St Nicholas' is stunning - its history and architecture took my breath away when I first visited. The chapel had more than 13,000 visitors last year; if every visitor gave just £15 this would help to keep this beautiful building open for the community. Please help us and donate today."
Melanie Knight, Director of Fundraising, The Churches Conservation Trust
"St Nicholas has stood at the heart of our community for centuries. It has played host to many celebrations and important events. However, we need to help fundraise, as previous generations have done, to secure its future and I know the people of King's Lynn and West Norfolk will give what they can to this most precious community asset."
Councillor Colin Sampson, Mayor of King's Lynn and West Norfolk
