St Barbara, Haceby
Remote on lonely uplands that drop away to the Fens, all the main stages of mediaeval English architecture can be found in this small but very charming church. Above the chancel arch, are the Royal Arms of Queen Anne painted over a mediaeval Harrowing of Hell. You can see an angel complete with scourge and souls being pitch-forked into the flames.
