Audio Guides

The Trust is pleased to provide audio tours for some of our most visited churches.

Downloadable directly from our website, these guides provide a spoken word version of our successful 'Walk Round Guides'. Voiced by Simon Cook, an actor with over twenty years experience including seasons with the Royal Shakespeare Company,they provide a hi-tech addition to the Trust’s already wide range of visitor information. At present, we are able to provide two audio guides for St Leonard's Church, Bridgnorth and for St Peter’s Church, Sudbury. To listen to these podcasts, please click on the links to the right of this page.

Although the podcast downloads are free, we rely on voluntary contributions to ensure a future for the beautiful buildings in our care and to return them to the use of the local communities where possible. How do I download the guide?

The audio guide files are presented in MP3 format which is compatible with software such as Windows Media Player, iTunes, Winamp etc. You can listen to the guide by clicking on the link and your software will play the file. To download the audio guide onto your MP3 player or computer, right click on the file and choose "Save Target As..." and save to your computer or MP3 player.
