A sneak preview of 2012 delights

2012 is a date most people will remember for one thing - the Olympics. However, from our point of view, the Olympics is only one of many exciting things taking place in 2012! Here is a short preview of some of the things we are looking forward to...

Fundraising Abseil

A towering challenge...

24 March 2012

Last year, over 60 people took on a towering challenge and abseiled down the tower of St Mary's Church, Shrewsbury.

On 24 March 2012, we will be running another abseil, this time down the tower of St Leonard's Church, Bridgnorth.

Hospitality Day Albury 2008A series of historic church tours

May - October 2012 in various locations

Last year, our 'hospitality days' (now known as 'Historic Church Tours') were so popular that all four sold out.

In response to demand, this year, we will be running six historic church tours to various locations around the country.

For the first time time this year, we will also be 'theming' the days to focus on a particular aspect of the churches included in the day, such as wallpaintings, family monuments, Dicken's or family arms and heraldry.

More details about the days we're planning will be added to our website soon, so keep checking back!

Midsummer Tea Party cupcakeThe 2012 Midsummer Tea Party

16/17 June 2012

This is the third year we have run this fantastic national fundraising event. Last year over 80 churches took part, and we raised well over £12,000 in one weekend, to help support CCT's work.

Details will be coming up in late Spring on what tea party events are taking place where - don't miss it!

Using our churches

Many of our churches are ideal venues for events, ranging from farmers markets to flower festivals. If you are looking for a unique venue, why not get in touch?
