Friends of the Trust

In addition to the support of individual volunteers, we are very fortunate to have the support of over 50 Friends groups across the country.

Friends of the Churches Conservation Trust, or 'Friends groups', are connected to one specific Trust church. They promote that church locally as a community space, learning resource and place of historic interest, as well as supporting the Trust in a variety of ways such as:

• keeping the church open and clean and well maintained;
• organising and managing events;
• giving guided tours;
• raising money for conservation projects and to improve facilities;
• hosting planned visits, workshops and projects.
