Health and safety

As a volunteer with CCT your health and safety is extremely important to us. Our volunteers occasionally have to work alone in our churches, and our buildings are old and often have uneven flooring and low lighting. We require all our volunteers to: 2 young volunteers outside Stanwick Church

  • comply with any safety instructions and directions issued by the Trust;
  • take reasonable care for the Health and Safety of yourself and others;
  • ensure that any duty or requirement imposed on the Trust is complied with;
  • report or co-operate with the investigation of accidents or incidents;
  • use equipment or protective clothing in accordance with training received;
  • report any potential risk or hazard or malfunction of equipment.
