Marsh Volunteer of the Year Award 2011

We are really pleased that the Marsh Christian Trust agreed for a second year to support this prestigious award.

The winner receives an engraved plaque to keep, plus a cheque for £1000 for their church. Last year's well deserved winners were Eric and Linda Munson of St Peter's, Claydon, Suffolk.

This year's joint winnners were:

  • Val and Colin Sparks, who volunteer in Kent, Sussex and Surrey (South East Region)
  • Brian Keefe, who is a volunteer at St Oswald, Kirk Sandall, South Yorkshire (Northern Region)

They received their awards at our National Friends Conference at the NCVO Conference Suite, London on Tuesday 27 September.

Val and Brian received their awards from Lorraine Ryan of the Marsh Christian Trust.
