Volunteering with CCT

The Trust benefits greatly from the time, experience and skills of over 1000 dedicated volunteers, who are at the heart of our plans and objectives.

Volunteers are the very foundation of our work at local, regional and national level. Volunteers help us to ensure that our churches continue to play a vital role in the life of their local community.

They also enable us to maintain our high standards of conservation, safety and visitor welcome and to fulfil the full potential of these beautiful buildings centres of living history.

We really value the enormous contribution that our volunteers make, as they help us in carrying out a variety of roles, including:

• Keyholder/Stewards
• Church cleaning
• Churchyard maintenance
• Event Stewarding
• Guided church tours
• Literature distribution
• Administrative support
