As one of over 1000 individuals who volunteer for us, you will be a valued part of our organisation.
You will be working with other volunteers and staff to create a professional and friendly environment for visitors, caring for our churches and using them to the benefit of the local community.
In return for your time, abilities and energy, we hope to give you an opportunity to develop your skills and interests, make new friends and to make a satisfying contribution as you help us achieve our aims.
We like to think that volunteering with CCT is a rewarding and fulfilling experience, and that we provide our volunteers with the support they need. But don't take our word for it - why not hear from some of our current volunteers about what their experience of volunteering with CCT has been.
If you think you have talents and skills that we could benefit from, please do get in touch! Whatever your age, background or experience level, we will do our best to find a way to keep you busy!
We welcome young volunteers and each year have many young people taking part in Cathedral Camps, working on youth led projects, or developing skills and gaining experience in general office administration, marketing, working with the public and historic interpretation.
We have lots of opportunities available to volunteer, from stewarding to helping clear overgrown churchyards. We list some of these on our website, and all of them on Do-It.org.uk.
