How to helpWith 341 historic churches to care for, we spend millions every year conserving these wonderful buildings for future generations to enjoy. But all this work comes at a price - every year we must raise an additional £1.5 million just for essential repair work.
By making a regular donation, volunteering or helping spread the word about our work you will be helping to keep our churches open and in use - living once again at the heart of their communities as centres for local activities, community arts events and educational visits.
Our annual gift scheme members share our vision of creating a viable future for the iconic buildings in our care, and recognise that these buildings can contribute to modern life.
As a hidden gem to discover during a walk on the moors, a centre for people to meet, or even the home for one of Europe's most prestigious circus schools.
Our annual Midsummer Tea Party is the highlight of our fundraising calendar so if you fancy baking cakes, (or eating them!) then this is the event for you.
We have events throughout the year including abseils and even the chance to secure a place in the Great South Run so there is something for everyone.
Since 1969 over 300 historic churches have been demolished and lost for ever. 1700 more have been closed or converted into houses and offices; changed beyond recognition and never again free to visit or play a part in community life.
By making a donation, you can help save these amazing buildings for future generations to enjoy.
There are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved, from taking part in one of our planned events to organising your own fundraising event or challenge.
There are many simple ways to help us raise funds, all you need is a little time and a lot of enthusiasm!
