Fundraising Abseil

Could you abseil 100 feet to raise funds for historic buildings?

Join us in abseiling down some of the most historic towers across England, with breath taking views of the surrounding towns and countryside that our churches stand in.

We have up to 300 places available at each event so this is an exciting venture that you can take part in to help us raise money to keep conserving these beautiful historic buildings.

You can do this challenge on your own, with a friend, partner or in a team and with all the other abseilers taking on this feat there will be a great atmosphere.

Registration is £10 per person and all we ask you to do is raise a minimum of £85 in donations from your friends, family and work colleagues, and we will send you a fabulous fundraising pack to help you on your way.

If you raise £115 you will also receive a Churches Conservation Trust T-shirt on the day, and we have prizes for the most money raised and the largest team.

No experience is needed as full training will be given on the day from our fully qualified, professional abseil team; but places are going fast so get in touch as soon as possible.

CCT is delighted to offer a range of abseils across the country with towers of different height and structure and superb views of the surrounding countryside. Abseiling is a great way to give yourself a personal challenge whilst raising vital funds to keep over 340 historic churches at the centre of their community.

Whether you prefer a village, town or city we will have them all on offer. Very few people get to visit the top of our church towers so why not be one of them and sign up for a Towering Challenge event today. There is no age limit so old and young can enjoy this event side by side. The Trust has run 3 events this year and we have made this film to show you what the event is like and how other people have enjoyed it.

The trust has many fundraising ideas so please visit the other fundraising pages here if you want to stay nearer to the ground.
