The Board delegates day-to-day management of the charity to the Chief Executive, Crispin Truman. He leads a small senior management team who themselves manage 50 (full time equivalent) staff working in national and regional teams.
The staff are from many professional backgrounds and are responsible for ensuring that our churches are in good repair and open to the public. They support over 1,000 regular volunteers and manage a wide range of projects and events.
Our Board is Chaired by Loyd Grossman OBE FSA and has 10 members all of whom give of their time and contribute their varied expertise, knowledge and experience without payment.
Our staff work in three regional teams or in our national conservation and regeneration, fundraising and finance and resources teams.

His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales became Our President in 2007.
Our staff are one of our most important assets and we are committed to improving how we work together, encourage development and provide opportunities for learning.
