North Regional Director Rosi Lister & St Andrew's Church Shotley star in BBC Series

In this beautiful new history format, John Craven and Jules Hudson cross the country shining a light on the extraordinary secret stories behind Britain's disappearing heritage and the people who are working tirelessly to save it.

They meet the people who care, the communities battling to save a local landmark or an ancient wood and work alongside craftsmen keeping alive skills from an age long past. In the first of the series which airs on BBC 2 on Monday 6 February at 6.30pm our Regional Director for the North, Rosi Lister will be interviewed at St Andrew's Church, Shotley.

Last year, we welcomed over two million visitors to our churches. If each person donated just £2, this would enable us to keep our churches open, safe and watertight for you and future generations to enjoy.
