This month we are welcoming two new trustees to our Board

New Trustees

We are delighted to be welcoming two new trustees to the Board of CCT.

Keith Halstead is the Chief Executive of the Community Transport Association (CTA) and previously held a number of roles at the National Trust.  He brings knowledge of community development, regeneration and social enterprise and lives in our West region.

Christopher Knight is a non-executive director and former senior banker who has been closely involved with our Development Board for the last few years and is keen to help us broaden the funding base of the Trust.  He lives in London.  Both will bring valuable new strengths to the Trust as we face the challenges of the next few years.

Chris and Keith will replace Matthew Girt and Jenny Baker, who come to the end of their second term of trustees at the beginning of November.  Both have contributed greatly to the Trust over the past six years.  I and the trustees are hugely grateful for all their hard work and support.

Last year, we welcomed over two million visitors to our churches. If each person donated just £2, this would enable us to keep our churches open, safe and watertight for you and future generations to enjoy.
