All Souls Church, Bolton needs furniture

Much of the funding for the innovative project at All Souls Church has been raised but more is needed to furnish the building - find out how you can help

All Souls Church, Bolton needs furniture

The All Souls Crompton Charity (ASCCC) have been working with CCT to raise funds to ensure the future of this historically important building.

A grant has been received from the Heritage Lottery Fund and a number of other charities to pay for the conversion of the church but so far there is no money to pay for furniture and it is proving really difficult to raise the outstanding sum.

Why they need help?

'This centre will provide a vital shared space in our neighbourhood and will help address a number of important issues for local people. Even before the recent riots in England we had been working to engage local people - particularly young people - in the creation of the centre. When we asked people what they wanted All Souls to provide we found that as well as essential services for health, people wanted access to training and employment opportunities and that's what we are going to help with.''

Last year, we welcomed over two million visitors to our churches. If each person donated just £2, this would enable us to keep our churches open, safe and watertight for you and future generations to enjoy.
