For the past three years we have been working in partnership with Community Service Volunteers to run a series of cathedral camps.
The idea is for a group of young people aged 16-25 to get together for a week and carry out supervised conservation work on some of our wonderful churches.
In previous years we have:
It is a fabulous opportunity for young people to develop personal skills, gain hands-on experience in conservation and standing archaeology and work in some of the most beautiful and architecturally important buildings in the country.

What's on in 2011This year, we ran two CCT cathedral camps - one in Salisbury, Wiltshire, and one in Norwich, Norfolk, and what a great year it was.
Both camps got involved in The Ledgerstone Survey, which is being piloted in churches no longer in regular parish use.
We would like to thank all those involved: volunteers, organisers, campers and leaders - we couldn't have done it without you!
Keep checking back as all future camps will be posted here. In the meantime, you can learn more about them on the Cathedral Camps website.
Last year, we welcomed over two million visitors to our churches. If each person donated just £2, this would enable us to keep our churches open, safe and watertight for you and future generations to enjoy.
